The all-electric Urban Intermodal Freight System™ could eliminate as much as 58 Million pounds of CO2 emissions annually
Patented Intermodal Cargo Containers carry inbound shipments via urban rail, eliminating street and sidewalk congestion, double parking, ticketing, traffic delay, tolls, and driver overtime. UIFS™ can lower cost compared to truck delivery in the central business district.
Significant benefits including lower local delivery costs, better air quality, less traffic congestion and improved public safety for pedestrians, bicycles and motorists. UIFS™ will also provide a new source of transit revenue by putting underutilized capacity to productive use.
Eliminating truck trips through local neighborhoods will improve community health by reducing particulate emissions.
