 Up to 1000 local delivery trips each day to Midtown Manhattan could be displaced by the Urban Intermodal Freight System™ in its initial phase of operation.  Proprietary  technology is used to leverage  untapped capacity in existing urban rail infrastructure to deliver freight seamlessly, like an assembly-line conveyor belt

The all-electric Urban Intermodal Freight System™ could eliminate as much as 58 Million pounds of CO2 emissions annually  

Patented  Intermodal Cargo Containers carry inbound shipments via urban rail, eliminating street and sidewalk congestion, double parking, ticketing, traffic delay, tolls, and driver overtime.  UIFS™ can lower cost compared to truck delivery in the central business district.

Significant benefits including lower local delivery costs, better air quality, less traffic congestion and improved public safety for pedestrians, bicycles and motorists. UIFS™ will also provide a new source of transit revenue by putting underutilized capacity to productive use.

Eliminating  truck  trips  through local neighborhoods will improve community health by  reducing particulate emissions.
